The Hive Café Solidarity Cooperative has many different committees and initiatives to get involved in. Get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested! Here are the current committees:
- Hive Art Gallery Committee (Mezz)
This committee coordinates the downtown art gallery where art from co-op members can be displayed as well as sold and/or traded. There is much creative freedom in this committee, and there have been discussions regarding vernissages and even possibly workshop series to further engage the community.
- Hive Growing Committee/Lil’ Sprout (Mezz and Loyola)
The Hive growing committee is an open committee that oversees the growing of the plants and herbs in the cafés that are used to bring life to the space, and also cultivate delicious community teas to our mouths.
- Hive Free Lunch (Loyola)
The Hive Free Lunch serves a free complete lunch to students every school day from 12:30 to 1:30 at the Loyola Hive. Swing by to help learn, prepare, and/or serve the delicious hearty meals. Find out more here.
- Have any other ideas? Get in touch!
Other projects, like the Hive-Book-Nook, have been initiated by user members of both the Loyola and at the downtown locations. Let us know if you have any ideas!
